About
I am a psychotherapist, business strategist, and leadership coach with over 17 years of experience in social work, behavioral health, business strategy, coaching, and entrepreneurship.
As a Therapist. . . .
I understand that it is a big step to enter therapy. I collaborate with my patients to get to the root of their concerns, transform their current thinking, and build their confidence. I am dedicated to listening with a compassionate ear and meeting my patients where they are at, building each session around their needs. My goal is to empower my clients to understand themselves better and improve their self-esteem. I work with individuals, couples, adults and teens.
I specialize in working with clients experiencing confidence or identity issues, imposter syndrome, and life transitions. I use my therapeutic skills and training in strategic leadership to help women, most specifically WOC, advance in both their careers and their interpersonal relationships while at the same time developing a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
I identify as a Mexican American and Puerto Rican, Latina. I ensure to create a cultural sensitive space and am committed to ensuring my patients have a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment to explore and discuss their identity, behaviors, and feelings.
I offer a faith-based perspective (e.g., Christian) for those seeking to incorporate their faith into sessions. I am also an avid runner, and in addition to running for my own self-care, I am a certified running coach and, in the Spring and Fall, plan to offer running workshops that incorporate running/yoga and mindfulness as a form of therapy.
As an Entrepreneur. . .
I have two businesses. Victoria R. Consulting, a business and leadership development consulting agency, which primarily focuses on building the businesses of female and WOC entrepreneurs. I assist entrepreneurs in building strategic and innovative businesses and leaders to become more effective leaders. My goal is to have your business operate at its highest level of efficiency and success. Basically, I want you to take that business idea and put it into action, think outside of the box, create the business of your dreams and have fun doing it. I succeed when you do (and we want to succeed).
The Running Stylist, uses fashion and fitness as a means to better individuals' mental health and self-esteem.

Not All Work. . .
I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and anything that gives me a good laugh (I go down a small rabbit hole of memes daily). Iām a fitness lover and avid runner, who has run 10 marathons, over 20 half-marathons, and 5 of 6 Marathon Majors. Fashion also rocks my world. I have done some editorial styling in the past. I think having a creative outlet is great for your mental health. Finally, I like to give back when possible. I volunteer at my church on the Mental Health and Women in Business Teams.
